*Adam waits by the lake. He looks around him, making sure everything is ready. He's a little nervous, and takes a few deep breaths. Everything will go fine. It would. He's Adam, he can do this. He's got everything he needs, and he sits and waits.*

*Adam splashes Paul with a large amount of bubbly lake water*

*Paul rolls his eyes*

Not what I was lookin' to see.

*Adam sinks down so that only his head is above water. he lowers his mouth and burbles through the water*

What were you looking to see?

*Paul smirks

Paul leers.*

*Adam surfaces for a moment, sticking his tongue out at Paul before diving under again*

*Paul frowns, and looks dubiously at the water.

He doesn't want to go under.

He's been under for far too long.

He starts to tread slowly back to shore.

The soap is itching him.*

*Adam swims up behind Paul and grabs his legs so that he can't walk*

Yes?

*Adam swims around Paul's legs and pops up in front of him*

Why're you going?

I'm wet.

So'm I.

*he moves to stand between Paul and the shore*

My shirt's missing.

*Adam jus nods dumbly*

And we still have to...

wash your hair.

*Adam walks up to Paul and runs a hand through Pauls hair, pulling it back to reveal grease and dirt*

And then what?

*shrugs*

I dunno.

*Paul shivers*

All right.

*Adam wades over to Paul and, grabbing some soap from the shore, soaps up Paul's hair. He runs his hands through Paul's hair, massaging Paul's scalp and making sure to get all over the dirt and grime out. Without even a "Ready?" he then takes Paul and bends him backwards so that just the back of his hair is in the water. He proceeds, then, to rinse the soap from Paul's hair, watching it run back down into the lake, running his hands through it soothingly*

*Paul's curls re-knot themselves around Adam's fingers like wild vines.*

Is it over?

*Adam stands Paul upright and kisses his forehead, running his hands down Paul's now-clean face*

Almost.

*he glances downward*

*Paul rolls his eyes, turns, and wades into chest deep water.

He hurls his trousers at Adam*
