*Still flushing from the scene with Raven, Adam leads Alanna back through the halls and into her

room. Door open, shoes off, and he's not left her side once all day, he's not going to leave it now as he leads her to the bed and has her lay down.*

*Smiling, Alanna stretches out on the bed, folding her arms behind her head.*

Not really, no. Just... oddly relaxed.

[last_adam]

*He flops down on the bed beside her, looking up at her, eyes bright. Yet still yawning.*

I'm glad.

[the_lioness]

*She rolls over on her stomach, head turned toward him, and rests her hand on his cheek. After a long pause, she giggles.*

I can not believe he kissed you.





Okay, I can. But, still.

I didn't actually expect him to do it!

*Adam's face is still bright red.*


I can't believe he kissed you.

*Given that he knows Raven was kidding, he can't quite believe how agitated it made him, either.*

*Although she is not quite as red as he is, Alanna blushes as well.*

Yes. Hmmmm. I suppose that was my fault, but it was better than getting upset? *She smiles and kisses the corner of his mouth.*

[last_adam]

*He takes the kiss and makes it more, smiling all the while at her.*

Wouldn't want you to get upset.

*Pulling back, he runs a hand down her side.*

You don't have any plans for tomorrow, do you?

Beyond thinking? No. Why? *She shifts under his hand and smiles.*

*Adam eyes the clock nearby the bed and grins.*

Because that door is locked, and it's not opening again for the next 24 hours.

[the_lioness]

*Slowly lifting her head, Alanna eyes the door. When she looks back at him, she is smiling like she hasn't in days.*

Oh, really.

[last_adam]

*Aside from all of the other stuff. The bad and the sad and the wanting to lock themselves away from the world to protect her-*

Do you know what tomorrow is? Today, now?

[the_lioness]

*Alanna crawls a bit closer on her elbows and nods shyly.*

I might have an idea.

*The last is whispered against his mouth as she brushes her lips against his.*

[last_adam]

*He just can't stop smiling at her. Or kissing her.*

Doesn't feel like it's been that long.

[the_lioness]

I know.

*Her eyes flick up to his between kisses, and she smiles.*

That is good though, yes? I'd hate to think I bored you silly.

[last_adam]

You, Alanna-

*He can't help but yawning a bit, it's been a long day and a much longer week.*

Love you. Tomorrow's for you.

[the_lioness]

*She smiles and winds herself around him, cheerfully ignoring the blanket in favor of his body heat.*

For us. I love you, Adam. Thank you.

*Swallowing, she falls back on the pillow and takes a deep breath. A day.

Perhaps in a day they can figure out where to go from here.*

[last_adam]

*He kisses her again, and presses against her, needing to be close.*

For now, sleep. Or try.

*She settles down, pressing a kiss to his neck and breathing in.*

I hope we have food...

[the_lioness]

*For the first time in weeks, Alanna is having a good dream. Bittersweet, if one considers recent events, but good nonetheless. In it, she and Thom are hiding from Coram in the forest; their manservant had fussed at Thom, and for once, Alanna had agreed to avoid their lesson for the day.

In it, the twins sit back to back, looking up through the snow coated trees. An observer might look at them and think they are two peaceful halves of a whole. That is until Alanna turns around and dumps a handful of snow down the back of Thom's shirt. He shrieks, giggling as he flops over, knowing she will follow.

It's then that Alanna wakes up, an amused smile on her face. She snuggles closer to Adam and sighs, closing her eyes against the light.*

[last_adam]

*He hadn't wanted to wake her yet, so Adam had simply been watching. He sees the peek of the eyes and watches them wrinkle as she slams them shut. He stifles a laugh, and brings a finger up to trace the line of her cheek.*

[the_lioness]

*Leaning into his touch, she yawns and smiles.*

G'morning.

*Her hand moves in lazy circles on his stomach until she's seized by a full body stretch, giggling.*

[last_adam]

*Adam takes the opportunity to sneak in.




and tickle.*

*Alanna yelps, writhing in an attempt to get away. She only manages to tangle herself up in the covers, her face red as she laughs. Obviously, when cornered, one must fight back.

It's really a shame that Adam left his waist exposed like that.*

[last_adam]

*Adam squeals like a little girl, writhing to try and escape, but even so he refuses to relent in his attack. He can't help it; between the yelps, he's giggling like a goon, and he finally manages to slide his offending hand to grab hers and he pulls it above her head to pin it, leaning over her for a good morning kiss.*

[the_lioness]

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....mmph.

*Her fingers curl around his, and she kisses him back with a soft sigh, smiling against his mouth. It is good to hear him laugh.*

And just how long have you been awake?

[last_adam]

Not very long.

*Though longer than he'll let on. He did manage to finally get sleep, though, and it shows on his face. Smiling, he slides his arms under her head and leans down for another kiss.*

This is nice. Could do this all day.
