When Adam awoke, the flat was empty. As he padded around, he noticed that the air seemed different, the whole attitude of the place did. In the kitchen, there were some teabags, and a plate of sandwiches, with a note-

Adam,

Please help yourself.

and so he did. But the food didn't taste right, the tea didn't taste right. Even the programs on the telly didn't feel right, and he sat on the sofa, tapping his foot and not sure what to do. So, he headed back.
