When Adam was about 13, he was grounded for an entire week and decided that enough was enough. He was done with the whole growing up thing; after what he'd been through, he felt he'd done plenty of it for one lifetime. So he wished his body into an adult's, stared at himself in the mirror for about a minute, then headed back to his bedroom. By the time he got there he was 13 again.
He didn't grow at all for about 2 years after that. His parents thought his growth had been stunted by genetically modified food.
